How to Get to Florence (Firenze)
... by Plane Florence Airport "A. Vespucci" is connected with direct flights with the main Italian and European Airports: Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino, Munich, Paris CDG, Frankfurt, London Gatwick, Amsterdam, Bruxelles, Vienna… From the airport to the center of Florence you can take a direct bus, "Volainbus" by ATAF, (departures at 00, 30), or rent a car to go Hotel Demidoff (see below). The most important international Car Rentals have desks in the Arrival Building. Pisa Airport "G. Galilei" is connected with direct flights with the main Italian and European Airports. From the Pisa airport to Florence there is a direct railway link (Pisa Aeroporto – Firenze S.M. Novella, about 65') ... by Train The Railway Station of S.M. Novella is located in the center of the Town. Florence is at the intersection of the line Milan-Rome with the line Florence-Pisa. Journey times are 1h36' to/from Rome and 2h45' to/from Milan. ... by Car The town of Florence is along the A1 Motorway connecting
Milan to Rome and Naples, at the intersection with A11 Motorway to Pisa.

Germany/Austria take the Motorway across the Brenner Pass. From the Pass
via Verona, Modena, Bologna on Motorway A1 to Florence it is 450 km.
