Abstracts, Manuscripts & Special Issues

Abstracts:

Abstracts for posters and for invited talks must be submitted by March 15, 2011. Abstracts are accepted in electronic form and should be sent electronically as word documents to: tdls@nsc.gpi.ru and copy to tdls@conncoll.edu. Word format of abstracts is required. Abstracts will not be edited. Authors are fully responsible for both appearance and content of their submission. The title should be centered and typed in upper case. The name(s), affiliation and address(es) of the author(s) should be centered and typed in upper and lower case letters. Abstracts should be typed single spaced using Times 12 pt font. Margins should be at least the following: top - 3.5 cm; bottom - 2.5 cm; right - 2.5 cm; left - 2.5 cm (3 cm for Letter size paper). Maximum length is one page. Deadline for abstracts submission is March 15, 2011.

Manuscripts & Special Issues

Manuscripts may be submitted to Dr. Andrew Orr-Ewing, University of Bristol (a.orr-ewing@bris.ac.uk) and simultaneously to Dr. Gerard Wysocki, Princeton University (gwysocki@princeton.edu) prior to 31 October 2011. A complete guide to authors may be found at www.springer.com/journal/340.

Conference Special Issue

A Special Issue of Applied Physics B: Lasers and Optics will be published under the title: Selected Papers from TDLS 2011, An International Conference on Tunable Lasers and Fundamental Laser Spectroscopy. Professor Andrew Orr-Ewing of the University of Bristol, UK and Professor Gerard Wysocki of Princeton University, USA will be guest editors for this special issue.

The deadline for submission of accepted manuscripts to Springer is 1 February 2011. We anticipate a very efficient and rapid review process, and manuscripts will be critically reviewed according to the normal standards of the journal.

A copy of this Special Issue for each regular participant is included in the registration fee.
